I don’t know what to say to try and convince you to read this and to take the time to get to know me, so I’ll tell you a little bit about myself and hope to hear from you.

My name’s Rick. I’m 42. Blonde, but I tend to keep my head shaved. Blue eyes. 5’9”, about 215 pounds. Sorta goofy sense of humor. Small, but loving family. Family oriented. Honest, open, loyal, and affectionate. Just a regular guy in an irregular situation.

I love to read, and occasionally draw. I’ve even been honored enough to donate some of my work to the Come Fly a Kite for Homeless Veterans event here near Buffalo.

I love music, a little bit of everything, but I’m a sucker for a powerful female vocalist. I love football, and under normal circumstances, I’m a huge nature guy. The woods, the beach, animals, hiking, swimming, cycling, etc. I try to get to the yard as often as possible.

I’ll be graduating with my Associate’s degree this December and then pursuing my Bachelor’s. I’m still fighting to come home sooner rather than later. I speak a little Spanish and German.

I’m looking for someone to talk to. To get to know and build a real friendship with. I’ve tried this before and made some really good friends and I’ve lost a few as well. Covid’s been hard for everyone, even guys like me who seem to be forever socially distanced.

I’m looking for someone to connect with and building something that’ll last. At heart, I’m an old school romantic, still believing there’s someone out there for everyone. While I haven’t found her yet, I believe I will one day. I’m looking for friends, but if someone comes along who’s open to something more, that’s incredible.

I’m just looking for someone smart, independent, strong, and caring enough to look past my situation and see me for the man I’ve become. That my past doesn’t have to define my future. If that’s you, please send me a letter or an email through JPay. Hope to hear from you :)
